Texas Frightmare Weekend was presented in association with Fangoria. Conceived by Loyd and Sue Cryer in 2005 as a three day horror convention. Texas Frightmare Weekend hosts celebrity appearances, autograph signings, screenings, exclusive parties and horror memorabilia vendors from all over the country. This was our first time covering the event and it was definitely a different crowd, but the same enthusiasm for their genre.
Guests this year included George Romero, Tobin Bell, Corey Taylor from Fear Clinic, Dee Snider, Terminator's cast (Linda Hamilton, Robert Patrick, Kristanna Loken, Michael Biehn, Earl Boen, Thomas Dekker, Jenette Goldstein, Peter Kent), Julie Adams and Ricou Browning from Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Hellraiser cast (Doug Bradley, Nicholas Vince, Barbie Wilde), the Walking Dead's Chandler Riggs and Scott Wilson, and cast from Aliens, Repo, Blair Witch Project plus more!!
