Today marks the 13th anniversary of when two hijacked aircraft crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City, while a third smashed into The Pentagon in Arlington County, Virginia, and a fourth into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, in a series of coordinated suicide attacks by 19 members of Al-Qaeda. It was on September 11th, 2001 that 2,996 people were killed and America was never the same again. But our nation grows stronger and more defiant.
