The founder of MegaUpload's file-sharing site, Kim Dotcom, was arrested. MegaUpload was shut down by the U.S. government, alleging that it facilitated illegal downloads of copyrighted content. The popular site made $175 million since 2005 with about 50 million people visiting daily. The website made money from ads and by charging customers for premium accounts. $45 million in 2010.
